This sculpture work references the western historical concepts of the Sublime, especially the ideas by Immanuel Kant in terms of a confrontation with the ephemeral nature of life. It is a state beyond regional and cultural boundaries. In my work, I ask fundamental questions about human existence, who we are and what we are beyond our bodies.
