Trample
Trample is a durational performative video installation work that is finished in the course of the show Group Format on the idea of "artist ten tear plan", installed in the Uptown Art Center in Chicago, in the month of November 2014.
During the course of the show, more and more holes of words are punched onto the piece of vertical paper hanging in the corner. The words are selected according to what I see essential to the "ten year plan" both in English and Chinese. The holes come in 3 different sizes and the words sometimes overlap with each other or spread widely apart on the paper, revealing the projection onto the back corner wall as a constellation of wish and will of me as an artist.
