VR WSPark is designed as a metaverse VR exhibition space resembling NYC’s Washington Square Park on the Social VR Platform Sansar by Snow Yunxue Fu - Artist, Curator, and Professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, co-hosted by DSLCollection. The virtual show space is devoted to the curated 3D Imaging artworks of Fu and her students, as well as other curatorial digital projects. It aims to function as a virtual cultural hub for additional events, lectures, and showings in the metaverse.

The first exhibition in the VR WSPark project is titled “The Land of Post-Photo“. The exhibiting artists include Ming Shiu, Melody Ball, Liz Speiser, Tonia Zhang, Fiona Beswick, Isabelle Beauchamp, Tony Wang, Devan Marz, Grace Redman, Yvette Fu, Snow Yunxue Fu, and V-Human Avatar.

For the second exhibition, VR WSPark is pleased to host the BFA Thesis Exhibition of NYU Tisch Department of Photography & Imaging. The Social VR 3D Exhibition features works by 46 graduating seniors from the Class of 2022. VR WSPark is a cultural hub for virtual shows, events, and lectures, designed as a metaverse space resembling Washington Square Park in New York City, hosted on the Social VR Platform Sansar by Snow Yunxue Fu, Artist, Curator, and Professor New York University Tisch School of the Arts, co-hosted by DSLCollection.

The third exhibition is a collaboration with NYU Metaverse Collabrative, NYU School of Professional Studies, and ArtLabb, in which 8 NFT artworks from NYU alumni and faculties (Tisch and SPS) are showcased in the VR WSPark, as well as the physical space of Web3 NYC Gallery.

*The Metaverse Art Exhibition VR WSPark project, while co-hosted by DSLCollection, has involved several institutions from across New York University, including 1) hosted by Professor Snow Yunxue Fu from NYU Tisch School of the Arts to showcase former students work from Department of Photo and Imaging (DPI) including the 2022 DPI Senior Thesis Exhibition, as well as NYU Tisch Department of Integrated Media Arts, 2) hosted students’ work and avatar artists from NYU Tandon School of Engineering in the class taught by Prof. Carla Gannis (co-teaching with Prof. Yuliya Lanina from University of Taxes), 3) covered by NYU Journalism on Pavement Pieces by Nikol Mudrova, 4) collaborated with NYU Metaverse Collaborative from School of the Professional Studies with Prof. Elizabeth Haas and Prof. Shoshana Bass in the ArtLabb exhibition launched by Prof. Marc Beckman from NYU Stern School of Business.

Other outside NYU affiliations includes 5) the Metaverse space launch exhibition and event with Configuration and Pingshan Art Museum in Shenzhen China, 6) The Phillips Auction House featuring the release of NFT work by artist Drue Kataoka that benefits two esteemed American civil rights organizations, The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (“The King Center”) and Stop AAPI Hate, 7) hosting artist talk by legendary new media artist Claudia Hart.
